Sneek peak at Roberto Cavalli’s H&M line
To be released November 8, in 200 selected stores around the world (cross your fingers?). RC is known for designing with bold animal prints and flowy, feminine dresses, often juxtaposed with each other. He’s a designer for the stars: Victoria Beckham, Madonna, Michael Jackson, Gwenyth Paltrow, Beyonce and many more. At H&M, his line will include 25 women’s and 20 men’s pieces, plus lingerie and accessories.

Of the designs pictured here, the top are RC’s designs for H&M; the bottom is Kate Moss advertising his couture line.

About H&M: “At H&M, quality is about more than making sure that our products meet or exceed our customers’ expectations. It also means that they have to be manufactured under good conditions and that our customers must be satisfied with us as a company. Taking responsibility for how our operations affect people and the environment is also an essential prerequisite for H&M’s continued profitability and growth.” There’s supposedly a “major organizing campaign” underway with Unite Here, which is great, but I haven’t heard any updates on that in a long while.
