Be William Good

Joe Boxer who? Nick Graham, founder of the iconic ’90s undies brand, is back today under yet a new moniker: William Good. As in Goodwill. The new San Francisco-based brand is salvaging Goodwill discards from the area (some take the goods off the floor after 30 days) and creating new designs. As creative director, Graham’s growing design team includes Erin Anderson, an LA-based boutique owner, and Michelle Addey, an interior designer and host of HGTV’s Double Take.
The brand is currently available at the Goodwill on SF’s hip Fillmore Street (in its own section, pictured above) and on eBay. A for-profit business, William Good joins the ranks of wonderful new business models and practices that are “engaging the system” and improving their industries. It is benefitting Goodwill by splitting its profits with the nonprofit, as well as creating jobs and job training in the area. WG’s goal is to eventually sell its one-of-a-kind pieces at retail locations across the country. Some samples from the eBay store…
