Oy, Clorox has acquired Burt’s Bees. I’ve recently become more trusting of the Clorox brand with the launch of the Green Works natural cleaning products line (which I use) and the Sierra Club’s endorsement of it, but Burt’s Bees? This GreenBiz.com article describes the parent company’s focus on sourcing the hard-to-find natural ingredients it needs, which may come down to either raising prices or making sacrifices. We’ll see.
