• Diane Von Furstenberg was also awesome.
• Showings from eco-fashion houses Organic by John Patrick and Bodkin have had some nice highlights. Via Ethical Style’s Behind the Seams.
• Black models are crediting “the Obama effect” for more runway castings this season, as reported by the NYTimes. JC Report, which has covered runway diversity for years, says the boon started last season; “Designers slipped black models into their lineup in numbers not seen since the ’70s.”
