Lo and behold, I open up my Style Bubble RSS feed today, and Susie’s designer crush of the moment is none other than Kansas City’s Peggy Noland. Gotta love it!

I took the image above of Peggy’s KC shop earlier this summer, covered in stuffed animals, and Susie showed the inside of Peggy’s new shop in Berlin:

She’s got a hole-in-the-wall space for both locations (literally, about 100 square feet), but she makes the best of them by filling every last inch with some cohesive element of decor. In KC, before the stuffed animals, she’d filled every inch of the shop with white batting — it was like entering a cloud.

After you check out Peggy’s international collaborations at PeggyNoland.com, you’ll be convinced that yes, Susie was right when she speculated, “Peggy may well be the most out-there designer in Kansas City”… but I can vouch for the fact that she’s still a doll who will strike up a friendly conversation anywhere she goes.
