Giveaway: Win one of three recycled-content cosmetics bags by EcoTools
I told you a few weeks ago about my new EcoTools cosmetics bags — and now I get to give away three overnight bags!
To enter, you can leave a comment on this post about why you would like to have one of these bags, and you can tweet a link to this post including the words “recycled-content cosmetics bags by EcoTools & Alicia Silverstone.”
I will pick three winners — one by how much you really need the bag (as conveyed in your comment… that’ll be fun!), one randomly chosen from the comments and one randomly chosen from Twitter. The contest will end Wednesday, Jan. 27 at 3 p.m. CST.
Thanks everyone. Enjoy!

okay, I neeeed one of these, with all of the traveling that I do for my job. I have one or two “toiletry”-type bags, but they don’t really hold all of my stuff, so I end up just taking additional big ziplock bags full of things. That is NOT eco-friendly.

come to mama, you pretty little overnight bag!!!
i think i should win because i don’t have anything in this size and the last dozen-or-so times i’ve gone on a quick little trip, i’ve had to either A.) bring a bag wayyyyy bigger than i need which then makes me pack more, which then makes the plane/car weigh more, which PROBABLY increases my carbon footprint in some way (right?!). or B.) i shove everything in multiple tote bags which is a pain in the arse and not nearly as fashionable as carrying this beauty around would be. :)
off to tweet about the giveaway… (extra points for determination????)

I definitely need this bag! We both have family all over the place so we travel very often to visit them, and until recently I was using a neon green and yellow cosmetic bag that I got free from Clinique way back when Clinique and neon colors were totally in (so junior high). It finally broke about a year ago, so now I resort to big Ziploc bags. While they’re probably actually slightly less tacky than the previous one, they’re anything by environmentally friendly!

my old makeup bag is VERY old. I have to wear makeup all the time cover up extremely hypopigmented skin. The foundation stains are so hard to clean from cheap bags!

Hey hi:) I don’t really need this bag, at least not to the extent of need, as when it comes to fashion, it’s always more of a I want it, rather than I need it:)But regardless, it’s a beautiful beautiful bag, and I always believe that every item that comes with a little story behind makes it more personal to the owner. So here goes my reason for wanting the bag- I’m just starting to use my first makeup and have yet to find a perfect bag to store them in. Since this is kinda like my first cosmetic bag, I really want it to be more special than some random cosmetic bag bought from the store. Starting to use my first makeup is like a mark of growing up, a very important stage in your life when you’re experiencing the awkard but awesome transition of turning from a girl to a woman which I’m sure every woman will be familar with:) So, I will really like to win this bag to remember this fantastic journey of growing up by, and besides everyone could do with a little good luck when growing up:) helps to balances out the complications and troubles that comes with it. Because lets face it, although I love and enjoy the process of growing up, it can be a real pain-in-the-ass sometimes. Oh and who knows, one day I may be passing down this exact bag to some other teenager girls that are going through the exact thing as I am right now;)

Such a cute bag! I’d like to own one of these because it looks absolutely perfect for vacation. Great size & the print makes it easy to find!

My body is sustained by recycled-content cosmetics bags. Without this bag, I’ll be dead within three weeks.

Since I’m working about a million hours a week now (ok…60) at least a couple times a day I am putting on/touching up makeup in parking lots on the way to or from meeting clients, employers, friends. This means stray mascaras and concealers pop up in unusual places and fall out of my bag when i’m searching for a pen or my wallet. I would love to have something that is cute enough that it would prettily (and ecologically!) stow away all these things and that I can be carried and not have it scream MAKEUP BAG! I AM NEVER AT HOME!

Wow, while i enjoy the beauty of this bag, i am thinking that it really doesnt matter if it were pretty or not because my friends dog just chewed all of my makeup and my makeup bag and a pair of my shoes last night while i was doing a good deed and dog sitting! GRRR…well at least the dog is cute…cant be too mad at a puppy dog face right?

i’m pretty sure this bag actually needs me. i mean, it’s almost begging me to win it.
plus, oklahoma city makes it really hard to be eco-friendly. there’s no recycling pickup where i live, a scarcity of locally grown or organic food, and practically our whole economy is run on oil. i’d feel a lot better about my attempt to make my mark on this city if i could do it while carrying this bag.

Because the one I currently own SUCKS! And isn’t nearly as cute.
