High Voltage in Austin

Thank goodness for fellow bloggers! Thanks to Indiana of AdordedAustin.com and Tran of tranish.blogspot.com, I made plans for tonight to go to what Indiana calls ”one of the most anticipated fashion events in all of Austin,” the University of Texas’ textiles and apparel division’s year-end fashion show.

HOWEVER, my brother and his wife just let me know that they will be able to squeeze in a little side trip through Austin, tonight only, which is also exciting. I’m super sad to miss High Voltage, but it will be fun to give my first mini-tour of Austin. (And for their sake, I will refrain from expressing any further disappointment.)

I met Indiana and Tran last month here in Austin at a fashion bloggers’ meetup Indiana organized, and I can’t wait to get to know them (and their day-to-day habits) better now that I’m here.
